A Quantum Chemical Study of “Light-Dependent Herbicides”

چکیده
Com m on structural features were investigated for “light-dependent herbicides” (LD H s, also called peroxidizing or photobleaching herbicides). Q uantum chemical calculations of 143 herbicidal com pounds revealed that LU M O levels o f L D H s were sim ilar and strikingly low. Using the LUM O position as an anchor, presum ably know n structure-activity relation ships could be explained. Overall m olecular similarity between oxyfluorfen and ch lorophtha lim was examined by m olecular field fitting. The result supported LU M O position corre spondence.

Doxorubicin Loaded Liposomal Nanoparticles Containing Quantum Dot for Treatment of Breast Cancer
In addition to increasing the efficacy of various drugs, Nanoparticles reduce their side effects. In this study, different nanoparticle formulations of Doxorubicin anticancer drugs were prepared. The efficacy of the formulations produced in the cell culture medium was studied compared with the free drug. Reverse phase evaporation was used to form the liposome containing do...
متن کاملRemoval of Phenylurea Herbicides from Waters by using Chemical Oxidation Treatments
Four phenylurea herbicides (isoproturon, chlortoluron, diuron and linuron) were dissolved in different water matrices in order to study their chemical degradation by using UV radiation, ozone and some advanced oxidation processes (UV/H2O2, O3/H2O2, Fenton reagent and the photoFenton system). The waters used were: ultra-pure water, a commercial mineral water, a groundwater and a surface water ta...
متن کاملThe Quantum Statistical Mechanical Theory of Transport Processes
A new derivation of the quantum Boltzmann transport equation for the Fermion system from the quantum time evolution equation for the wigner distribution function is presented. The method exhibits the origin of the time - irreversibility of the Boltzmann equation. In the present work, the spin dependent and indistinguishibility of particles are also considered.

Carbon quantum dots (CQDs) serve as a new class of ‘zero dimensional’ nanomaterial’s in thecarbon class with sizes below 10 nm. As light emitting nanocrystals, QDs are assembled from semiconductormaterials, from the elements in the periodic groups of II-VI, III-V or IV-VI, mainly thanks to impacts of quantum confinement QDs have unique optical properties such as brighter, highly pho...
متن کاملGas contaminants capturing by gamma-carbonic anhydrase catalyst: A quantum chemical approach
In this paper, we used quantum chemical approach to shed light on the catalytic mechanism of γ-carbonic anhydrase (γ-CA) to convert carbon dioxide to bicarbonate ion. Density functional theory (DFT) using B3LYP and UB3LYP functional and three split-valance including 6-31G*, 6-311G** and 6-311++G** basis sets were used to calculate the details of electronic structure and electronic energy of act...
